Christmas Eve

It is Christmas Eve in Valparaiso. For Chileans, this is the Big One. The equivalent to our Christmas Day. Families will get together this evening to celebrate. And at midnight, presents will be opened, songs sung and the process of beginning the traditional Christmas Day hangover, typically at work,  will begin.

Before we get to that, Pookaverse has been collecting Christmas images from the United States and beyond for you to browse. Just to see how it’s done elsewhere.

Merry Christmas to you both! I love how it’s slightly different wherever you go – even in very close by countries (ask Rebecca about Belgium and Black Pete!). Hope you have a lovely time – is it strange to have Christmas in the Summer heat?

Merry Christmas to you the most superb Mr T and the enchanting (future) Mrs Rebecca T. . I have heard a little about Black Pete from a Christmas podcast.

Rebecca? We are asking you. Please. When you have a quiet moment in the next few days. Can you say a little bit more?
